*ESTABLISH A MULTI-LANGUAGE, COMPREHENSIVE AND INTERACTIVE WEB SITE FOR THE DISTRICT ATTORNEY S OFFICE.
*ENLIST LAW FIRMS TO LOAN ATTORNEYS TO SERVE AS
ASSISTANT DISTRICT ATTORNEYS MODELED ON THE
SUCCESSFUL MIDDLESEX COUNTY AND SUFFOLK COUNTY
PROGRAMS.
* ENLIST MEMBERS OF THE BAR TO REPRESENT VICTIMS ON A
PRO BONO BASIS WHO SEEK RESTRAINING ORDERS IN
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CASES MODELED ON THE SUCCESSFUL
MIDDLESEX COUNTY PROGRAM.
* ESTABLISH A SCHOOL SUPERINTENDENTS ADVISORY COUNCIL.
This group will meet regularly with the District Attorney to discuss ways to keep schools safe, address underage drinking, dating violence, bullying
and other school related issues.
* ESTABLISH A COLLEGE PRESIDENTS ADVISORY COUNCIL.
This group will meet with the District Attorney to address the issue of crime on campus including, drug use, binge drinking, relationship violence, sexual
assault and other campus security issues. I will also seek their participation in a number of anti-crime programs and initiatives.
* ESTABLISH A POLICE CHIEF ADVISORY COMMITTEE.
This group will work with the District Attorney to coordinate and maximize law enforcement efforts.
*ESTABLISH A COUNTY WIDE CRIME PREVENTION
COORDINATING COUNCIL.
This will be a diverse county wide group that will meet to exchange ideas and to maximize and support crime prevention efforts across the county. I will conduct meetings with community leaders throughout Hampden County.
